Richard Nixon (January 9, 1913 - April 22, 1994) was the 37th president of the United States. Though he was not an evil man or anything, he was a likely instigator in the Watergate Scandal, where in 1972 members of his cabinet tried to record many conversations from other parties at the Watergate complex, which is illegal and counts as fraud. Though Nixon originally denied his participation in this activity, he resigned in 1974.
Nixon was also responiable for war crimes in the Vietnam War, killing 70,000. However, he did do many good things such as opening up relations with China. He died in 1994 as an elder statesman and a completely redeemed man.
